Put the sugar, salep and milk into a pot and boil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes by whisking.
After boiling, remove from the stove and cool it by stirring occasionally.
Grate the rinds of the lemons with the fine side of the grater.
After grating the rinds, squeeze the juices.
Add 1 tablespoon sugar and half teaspoon turmeric and mix. -

Add the lemon mixture into the milk-salep mixture which we are sure that it has cooled down completely and pass it through a strainer, stir the mixture through the strainer for a round or two.
Put this mixture into the freezer without transferring it to another container and whisk it every hour until it thickens.
You can serve it after it is completely frozen. -
